Julian was barely aware of his family’s struggle to survive when we met him at the age of 5. When we arrived at his home years ago, he greeted us with a big grin on his face and kept on playing with his toy truck. Years later he is still smiling despite his drastically changed situation. His mother has since departed from the family’s home. His father who is physically disabled continues to provide the best that he can, but is limited by his physical inabilities. With the responsibility of taking care of three children, Advocates of Love helps him so that Julian can remain with his family. Julian is watched over by his sisters, Erica and Julia, while their dad is away.
Julian is a jovial and handsome boy who enjoys his father’s business of crabbing and being by the water. He spends most of his time with his older sisters and playing outside. He is a good student and his family is very proud of his academic success.
