Orlando

At age 4, Orlando was placed in the children’s home by a government agency called Conani. A friend of Orlando’s mother took care of him for a short period of time after his mother passed away from Lupus. Orlando was abandoned to the streets of Sanchez after the mother’s friend returned to Haiti. He was found by the government wandering the streets of Sanchez barefoot and severely malnourished. His feet were badly burned from being without shoes. He has transitioned very well into our home.

Orlando is a well mannered boy with a contagious smile.  He has a best friend who is constantly by his side.  He is thriving emotionally, physically and spiritually.  He enjoys hugs and affection from those around him.
