What Is the Community Care Program?

The Advocates of Love Community Care Program helps less fortunate children in Samaná who still have a responsible guardian and safe living environment. Despite having a suitable caretaker, these children may have physical, educational, and spiritual needs. Our Community Care Program ensures these children get their every need met.

The Community Care program keeps less fortunate children from becoming orphans and helps them get the same level of care that we provide to children in our Children’s Home. Advocates in the community care for these children using resources we offer.

We form relationships with less fortunate families in Samaná to provide them with the resources they need to give their children a better life. Our coordinator visits each family weekly to provide food, clothing, financial relief, and get updates on each child. Occasionally, we organize fun trips to foster closer relationships with them.

How You Can Help

While God has blessed us with a compassionate network of sponsors, the financial need is constantly growing. In 2021, we supported ten children with our Community Care Program, helping ease the struggles of poverty, illness, poor living conditions, and more. You can help Advocates of Love provide community care to disenfranchised children in the Province of Samaná, Dominican Republic too:

  • Sponsor a child in our program
  • Pray for Advocates of Love’s success in reaching the community
  • Spread the word about our Community Care program and children ready for sponsorship

You can help Advocates of Love provide the comprehensive support and care children in Samaná need. A single donation can help a deserving child get a chance at a brighter, healthier future. Meet the children Advocates of Love cares for and become a child sponsor today.
