Junior came to the children’s home in 2021 at age 9. He witnessed multiple traumatic events in his young life. His father physically abused his mother in his presence. His father was then killed right in front of him. Junior was placed with us due to his mother’s inability to care for him, because of her mental health. The amount and level of trauma in his young life is hard to imagine or believe.
Junior is now 10 years old and is a sweet and loving boy, he just exudes joy! He is on grade-level at school, with some help from tutors at the home. Junior loves being at the children’s home, he enjoys the feeling of security and love he receives. After such a hard start to life, we feel so hopeful for his future!
